Martin’s research focuses on social innovation and public policy to address wicked problems through designing, implementing, evaluating, and continually improving programs and approaches to create more impactful social strategies that harnesses limited community and social program funding. Martin strives to establish and evaluate clearly measurable strategies for concurrently mitigating social isolation in students and seniors. Martin’s courses at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½U are designed so that students work directly with community groups to address wicked problems. Martin also teaches Organizational Behaviour at Conestoga College.Martin’s career is dedicated to ensuring fair and equitable treatment for all and to developing future leaders with a strong emphasis on ethics. Martin is highly dedicated to the creation and support of meaningful volunteer and experiential learning opportunities for students, often through intergenerational programs
